Highlands speed recruitment could see jobs in a week

A leading Aviemore hotel is to host a unique ‘speed’ recruitment event that could secure employment for local people within one week.
The Cairngorm Hotel (above) is convening a Careers Open Day with a difference on 28th April where interested individuals with a CV will be guaranteed a 10-minute interview for a post by the end of the evening.
The recruitment equivalent of ‘speed dating’, attendees could leave the event with an offer within 7 days, if both parties are satisfied.
Range of posts
Both full and part-time positions are available, ranging from supervisory and management positions to front of house, restaurant, kitchen and housekeeping roles, with seasonal work also on offer.
Potential school leavers, Hospitality students from UHI Inverness, local business and community groups and employment bodies have been invited, with agencies able to send candidates directly.
However, anyone can attend the informal event, from 4-7pm, to meet staff, enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour and learn about career progression opportunities.
If interested, potential candidates will then be given a guaranteed on-the-spot interview which could fast-track the process of securing a position ahead of the main 2026 visitor season.
